On September 11th we were to have had a nomination meeting for Officers and Directors for the up coming year, 2006. Due to Katrina the business of that meeting was suspended and the Agenda was changed to discuss the clean up and cost of Quail Creek...Three members were present including myself...So now we have to focus on electing a new board to oversee Quail Creek and it’s interest for the up coming new year. With our web site receiving over 600 hits a day. I am reaching out to you the residents to step up and nominate some one or volunteer your self to be an officer or director. This past year I have spoken and met with three different Property Management Companies. I gave all a job description that I wrote up and run by the board of Quail Creek. I followed up and never got a response. So for now we need all new officers, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasure and Five Directors. I have served Quail Creek diligently for the past two years and have sacrificed a lot of personnel time in serving Quail Creek so it is time for me to step aside .I would like to have our Annual Members Meeting a little later then the By-laws call for in order to silicate residents interested in serving Quail Creek and keeping within the intent of the By-Laws as to allow everyone the ability to cast a ballot.
With the ordeal that we have all gone through with Hurricane Katrina. At our Annual Members Meeting .I will introduce a By-Law addition, which will allow us some levity in handling business. In a catastrophe such as Katrina in the future.
Those of you that have a nomination to make or would like to be nominated. Please e-mail me
afaneca@bellsouth.net. Please submit a phone Number to verify the nomination. After compiling a list of candidates I will set a meeting date as soon as possible. And mail out ballots.
Here is hoping things are doing better for you and your family. Please be patient and understanding with your neighbors as things will be different in Quail Creek for a while. And know the sitting Board members are working hard for you and to assure that Quail Creek is not only fixed but also fixed better and in a timely manner
Sincerely,
Alan Faneca, President QCPOA
